• A three-year degree plus a PG Diploma in Sericulture
• A four-year Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Sciences or Forestry
• A three-year degree in Zoology, Botany, Biology or Biotechnology with a PG Diploma in Sericulture
• A three-year degree in Zoology, Botany, Biology or Biotechnology with one year of experience in sericulture project work

Experience in silkworm rearing and grainage is desirable.
